Kuala Gandah Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary, Pahang is a rare and fantastic opportunity to get up close to endemic Malaysian elephants. This truly unique Elephant Orphanage of Kuala Gandah in Pahang will give you a very rare opportunity to learn about these displaced gentle giants.
Get the chance to ride them through the jungle,with the help of an elephant guide, or mahout.
There are opportunities to take the elephants down to the river and help give them a bath! and this is the only conservation centre set up to relocate these displaced elephants.
The Kuala Gandah Elephants Sanctuary allows you to observe and understand the handling and management of translocated Asian elephants. You can participate in daily activities, like feeding and bathing with the elephants.

Duration : 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Price : RM380 per car
( max. 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 kids)
Itinerary :
9 a.m. Depart from KL
11 a.m. Visit Deerland Park (Close on Friday)
12 p.m. Lunch
12.30 p.m. Video Show on Elephants
2 p.m. Feeding and Elephant Show
3 p.m. Elephant Rides
3.30 p.m. Visitors can swim and play with the elephant in the river under
staff supervision.

4.30 p.m. Return back to Kuala Lumpur
6 p.m. Estimated time of arrival to Kuala Lumpur

- The final decision of the actual itinerary will be made by us on the day of tour. Due to the nature of the tour, the weather, road condition, local circumstances, prevailing safety factors, the route and itinerary may vary than those published but the content of the tour will be the same.
- The itinerary will be finalized by us based on local weather condition.
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap & bring along bath towel and spare clothing in case you get dirty.
- Please do not wear any bikini while involving in activities with the elephants, as we need to respect the local culture
